Despite qualifying for the Women’s World Championships, British Underwater Rugby had no national identity, no aligned training systems, and limited institutional support. Fragmentation across clubs, lack of visibility, and COVID-era disruption further stalled progress.

Partnering with the women’s leadership, we:

• facilitated national alignment camps and cultural reset sessions
• defined a compelling programme identity: purpose, vision, values and ethos
• anchored performance within a values-based, athlete-centred framework.

• Competed on the global stage with unity and pride.
• Programme gained national visibility and credibility.
• Culture reset cascaded into grassroots club systems.
• Women’s participation and influence within the sport increased significantly.
